Hey I was curious on which one is better? My friend has a CTR motor in his teg, and he was askin me if I will trade him my ITR cams and cam gears for his CTR cam's and cam gears...but I dont know which one would be better...I think the ITR one because of the Vtec lobe is bigger...but not sure...

If your ITR cams are from a 2000-2001 motor, you'll be trading the same cams...

Michael Delaney had a comparison pic awhile ago with the CTR and 00-01 ITR profiles showing them to be exactly the same. Wish I could find it though.

STOCK ITR 1996-1999 profile
INTAKE lift - 11.5 mm, duration - 240 @1mm
EXHAUST lift - 10.5mm, duration - 235 @1mm

STOCK CTR and 2000-2001 ITR profile
INTAKE lift - 11.5 mm, duration - 243 @1mm
EXHAUST lift - 10.5mm, duration - 235 @1mm

 

yep yep, the lift and duration specs are the same
