FPR- CAR WONT START!!!!
so while i was reconnecting my charge piping that blew off, my friend unplugged the puel pressure regulator vacuum hose and forgot to put it back on. we tried to start the car about 3 times with it unplugged and idled terribley, would rev past 2k and was misfiring. so i plugged it back and let it sit over nite to let the flooded fuel drain, and this morning it was still doing the same thing. so i disconnected the battery and after a minute tried it again and not it wont start at all. it sounds like trying to start a car with a dead battery..? its a d16y8 on a chipped p28 with 450 cc injectors and walbro 255. anybody have any suggestions.?
Well if the car sounds like the battery is dying when you crank it, Why dont you put a battery charger on it. Also check your plugs to see if they are fouled.
i doubt it was the battery. thats jus the only way i kno how to describe how it sounds. it turns over but sounds like its either not getting any fuel or no spark. im gonna check the plugs later after school and work. but it was running perfectly fine before. all itouch was the charge piping and that vacuum line...?
gonna check them when i get home. i dont see how it could be injectors if the car was runing and driving fine jus minutes before this.. must be plugs. it seems like the motor is definately getting fuel but no spark. before disconnecting the battery, it would start and idle from 200 to 600 rpms and go up and down. now after the battery unplugged, it wont start at all

yea theyre gapped correctly. they worked fine before, but i jus put the kit on and theyre jus oem spec plugs so maybe they fouled under boost? i only drove it for about 5 mins before i noticed the boost leak from the charge piping..
im not tuned yet. i jus put the kit on last nite. im on a basemap for 450 cc injectors and low boost. ive had these plugs for about 8 months now. and now i dont know how to check if the FPR is working correctly. but i could smell a **** load of unburned fuel both in the cqar and the engine bay when it was misfiring. and no i dont have a FP guage
Are the plugs gapped for stock or gapped for turbo?
If it's on only a base map don't go beating on it , base maps are ment to get you to the tuner or for you to get the car running and start the tune.
You knew that though. right?
do you have a wideband or anything to tune off of, besides reading plug's?
If not i'd get a few set's of plugs.

yes i kno a basemap is now supposed to be beat on but i need the car to run to get to my tuner. my tuner is going to use his wideband while he tunes. then i will soon be getting my own. no they werent gapped for turbo, they were gapped for stock. what should i gap them to for turbo?
update- i pulled the plugs and they pitch black so the few times it did start, i was runnin real rich. put new plugs in, theyre all getting spark. charged the battery. motor cranks but doesnt start. fuel pump primes. what should i check next? i know its not my injectors cuz the car was running right before it all of a sudden stopped..?
just a question but what 450cc injectors are you refering to? DSM? if so, Do you have a resistor box? sounds to me as injectors, map sensor and TPS will show symptoms of what your experiencing too. go back and check all your connections. sounds like something is loose
