Well, I tried to start my car this weekend but it won't even crank. I can hear the starter click but nothing else.

Does this sound like a starter problem or could it be something else?

The funny thing is, I haven't done anything to the car since it was last running. I just parked and then it wouldn't start the next time I tried.

 

is your car getting fuel and spark.

 

I think it is....my inline pump is turning on but how do I check if it is getting spark?

 

hook up a battery jumper box first
it sound like you have a week battery...

sound like the battery, same thing happened to me, i got a new battery and problem fixed, my battery was 2 years old

 

You sure about the battery? All of my interior lights and guages, headlights, etc. work. It seems like my battery is ok.

Do you have an after market ignition.. where did u ground it? I had a similar problem..when i had it grounded to the frame..sometimes it wouldnt start, or had trouble starting..then when i changed it over to the negative of the battery for the ground....everythign was fine..started up everytime..

to check for spark, you pull the end of the wire off of the distibutor cap..hold it like a couple of mm's away, and see if it sparks...
