I just did a b16 swap in my buddys 98 civic. The day i did started the swap i went a got the car from his work a drove it to my garage and i drove fine.

I did the swap the engine runs great, but when we went to take it for a ride it started shaking like hell. When you drive it in a straight line it shake's bad, then when you turn right it gets really really bad, but then when you turn left it's rides smooth as a new car. So its something to do with the swap.

So right now i am stumped so if anyone know's what it is that would be great.
Please help my buddy really needs his car for school.

Sounds very odd, but have you checked all the grounds for starters?

 

The engine dosent shake.

 

Sounds like an axle alignment issue of some sort to me..

 

shake as in the steering wheel shakes? check your axles, make sure your mounts are nice and tight and check if your wheels are on tight...

 

Got i thanks guys. They gave us the wrong driver side axle. Its all good now.
