Injector suggestions/help
Im looking to buy a new set of injectors but the ones i currently have my eyes on are $75 for EACH one. they are the accel 255cc ones on tasauto. Obviously i want to get all 4 so im wondering if you guys know of any other brand that also offers a higher flowing (as compared to stock 235cc) injector in full sets of 4 at a better price. I see alot of 310cc ones but i would say that is a tad rediculous for my car, unless you guys think otherwise
You cannot substitute flow size on stock ECU so, no other options is there?
Why don't you call up local pep boys or autozone to check if they have bosch etc etc for Honda, 235cc peak and hold OBD2 injectors?? Less likely, probs see on ebay for a reconditioned one.

I ran a set of Accel 255cc injectors for two years without any mechanical problems. However, Like kccord eluded to. The stock ECU will learn to lean out the larger cc injectors via the Short Term and Long Term fuel trims. You will need a chipped ECU to make use of the larger injectors or continually reset your ECU every other day so it will not be able to adjust the LTFT.
oh wow, i had just thought the ecu would be able to recalculate and adjust accordingly, well i guess i just go the stock route, my current ones are fairly old and clogged i assume, with cylinder 4 & 3 running lean.
The stock ECU will always strive to attain a stoichiometric air to fuel ratio (14.7-AFR) no matter what you add to the engine. That is what it is programmed to do. That is why it only requires a narrow band O2 sensor. It only needs to see high, low and stoich.
If you have a ported head and a camshaft that would allow your engine to intake more air. Therefore raising the ratio of air. The ECU will compensate and add more fuel to keep the ratio @ 14.7:1. If you only have a CAI and other bolt-ons. The stock injectors can cover the ECUs increase in fuel adjustment.

Thanks for the info, pretty cool how they are able to adjust things like that on the fly. I might just shell out the money and go for stock ones. But damn injectors are pricey
