I'm pretty sure you have to extend the other wires also. Post some pictures of your current progress.

headlights and radiator plug is only half way what i was thinking was going to local junk yard and cutting th headlight, horm etc. harness starting from the firewall and extend it.
good idea or is there a cheaper alternative or easier route im going to get an igniter and another motor harness in 2 weeks so need it done way before. thanks

Yeah man just pick up some similar gauge wire and take your time to solder/heat shrink all the connections and you'll be fine.

Just put 2 labels on each wire, and cut in the middle.

that looks kinda sloppy and very hard to do i think it would be easier to just cut a wire and extend it.

Tell me I am being overly cautious, but do you people even consider using some sort of grommets or extra insulation to protect the wires in areas like that?

Sorry 818blue818 for borrowing your picture.

Oh, ok. I wasn't really criticizing you, I was actually curious since I am considering doing something similar to my hatch as well. Thanks for large and clear pictures.

i left those in the cabin and bolted them to an existing bolt. people screw them into the side of the frame at the fender well. i had to cut into two of the wires comming off the relay and extend them. those relays just need to be grounded somewhere. good luck

that is the fan relay. constant power and the switched power from the fan switch along with the ground go in, the fan power wire goes out.
