just wanted to show you what I've been doing this long weekend (stripping interior)

I'm just removing the last bits of sound deadening material from the rear wheel wells right now. I've got a good bit of a 30 gallon garbage bag and 2 vacuum bags full of removed material... it's quite heavy I'll weigh it when I'm done and put that info in a new thread.
damn dave what a nice vacation!! haha by how much do you think the stock sound deadening will outway the dynamat? i might do this for my audio aspect!!
Thanks for the nice words.
I'm gonna weigh everything, all the interior parts and sound dampening I've removed. Maybe I'll get to doing that tomorrow (I fuggin forgot there's some sound dampening along the center/shifter tunnel behind the rear foot air pipe which I had to cut to get off).
BTW the interior is going back in (gotta drive the parents around sometimes
)... but I think I'll run the 1/4 before I put it back in.

Yes I will be depressed. I was hunting for LS1s this morning until I removed the battery and ECU this afternoon.
But anyways it'll be a highway cruiser/competent track vehicle... quiet ride and kickass lightweight easily removable stereo (and it's already been hauling sufficient *** with the full interior up to now and I still expect a net reduction in weight).

Yup I'm gonna dynomat everything. It'll work out to the weight of the stock stuff, but should dampen better, and will cover a lot more square footage than the stock stuff.
