Default Stripped Interior

I just pulled most of my interior from the seats on back. I would guess its about 80 lbs. Before I continue with the front, I just wanted to get some other input on this. Is losing ~100 lbs. worth the the hassle. My stock exhaust has a leak somewhere and it sounds like I'm a bumblebee in a soda can when I take off quickly, but I plan to get it fixed soon...assuming I have money lol. Anyhoo, opinions?

Damn homie your set up is crazy clean good job..

just thinking, couldn't you just lose all the crap behind the back seats and still keep the panels that show in the car. You know cut the panels in half, from the trunk part. After all no one is gonna look into the trunk. Just a thought

I drove my integra for a while when it was gutted and i didnt notice any difference. I just put the stuff back in after i finished painting it. Looks a hell of a lot better...a little quieter.

I've had my car gutted like that, it wasn't worth doing for me, my ride comfort suffers too much. Road noise and exhaust noise is much louder. But she definitley was quicker, I have the track times to show that! It was fun for a while, but not how I'd ever want to keep my car permanently.
I weighed all the parts I removed and posted the weights up here---> http://www.clubintegra.com/boa...=2913

I just gutted the interior of my da and I love it. Looks good and saves weight. I'll never hit the 1/4th so i don't care about .10th of a second, just always loved the look of gutted cars. Can't speak on the exhaust noise, since my baby doesn't run at the moment.
