Could a K20/EK beat an S2000?
I saw the RSX-S motor on H-motors the full swap is only $4,000 which sounds like a good deal. I know the F22 has like 37 more HP and is RWD but the Ek is very light, so which would be faster?
look it up s2k run 14.0's a k20 eg or ek runs low 13's so DUH yeah.... havent u seen even a 05-06 rsx-S at top speed even passes the s2k. u loose power being transfered through the drive shaft so those 37 ponies are needed or it would be much slower.
I would say yes because you have to calculate weight. A EK weighs in around 2300lbs and the k20a2 is at 200hp vs a S2000 weighing about 2800lbs at 240hp
lol, my B20Z 1996 civic hatch would beat S2000 models all day long, it's not that hard, and the S2000 is "not" a speed demon....it's made to handle really well.

for around a $1000 you can build a f24frank from a f20 ap1 block, h22 pistons/rods, and k24 crank and have a 9k rpm 2.4L 250+ all motor s2k beast for cheap....the only real mods is the h22 rods hav to be milled 2mm on each side to fit in the k24 crank...the rod/stroke ratio short'ns up and gives nice bump in low end to....google the article turbo mag had it in there tech articles......im do'n it now
