Default Problems with turbo setup

So I was working on my turbo integra last night and ran into a problem while trying to make charge pipes. I have a precision sc-34 on a box manifold. I'm not going to turn the turbo the other way since my downpipe and exhaust are already hooked up. Don't tell me to buy another manifold. That's just stupid to me. Spend more money to fix a cheaper problem. The line for the slave cylinder is right in the way of where I need to put my intake pipe. Here is a pic of what I'm running into.
Never seen this before so give me some ideas on how to fix it.

its called screen mesh over the turbon inlet or a good manifold that puts the turbo in a better postion to allow for a filter. IMO i would get a better manifold. the screen over the turbo still allows debris into the engine and kills the cylinders over time

you could use braided line or even just bend the hard lines out of the way (use a brake line bender) as long as the fitting going into the slave cylinder isn't in the way...

If it is you can probobly get a 90 degree fitting for it...

I'm not running a screen. That's just ghetto imo. I have 3 friends running the same manifold and none of them have this problem but I'm the only one with a precision turbo. All 3 have the turbo facing the same direction as me.

Yeah I can bend the line but the fitting is still in the way.

why dont you turn your turbo around.. so thats the side your downpipe goes on?? or buy a good manifold instead of that log

The downpipe and exhaust are already hooked up so I'm not going to turn anything.
I love how people are telling me to buy a so called "good manifold" considering the blox is the same as the inline pro manifold and will flow just fine up to around 400hp.

Get a braided line with a 90degree fitting.

Getting a different turbo manifold is not good advice. I personally think it's a stupid answer. Go out and buy a new manifold that is at least 350 dollars and also my down pipe will more than likely have to be modified. Or someone can post a more reasonable fix that is only going to cost me around 40-60 bucks. Hmm that's a tough one right there.

I have thought about running a 90 with braided line but it won't work. You can see very well in the pic but the nipple for the slave cylinder actually sticks up past the turbo inlet. The 90 is going to stick up even higher.

there's nothing you can do short of turning it around or using a hydraulic release bearing.

Like the tilton? There has to be something else. Both of those options are expensive. I can't be the only person on h-t running a blox manifold with a sc34 in a dc2.

You can't see what's interfering with what from your picture because it was taken from the top instead of the side where we could see the inlet of the turbo...

A 90 degree fitting that isn't as tall would not interfere.... even a straight hardline fitting that didn't have so many extra threads protruding above the slave would probobly do fine...

This is one of those things that you have to figure out on your own.

I understand I have to fix it on my own but was asking b/c I figured out of the 1000's of people with boosted cars on h-t that someone had to of ran into the same problem and already figured out what was needed to fix it quick and easy. Guess I was wrong though.
I'm trying to locate a 90 fitting that I won't have to use -an fittings with but I can't find anything.
I need a 90 degree elbow with 2 inverted flare 10mmx1mm male ends that's short. I've googled it and looked on a bunch of sites but can't find exactly what I need.

Try lightning motorsports... they are super helpful and have tons of fittings/adapter pieces... you can also try B&R Fittings... best to PM them with a link to this thread and see what they can come up with.

I have a similar set up as you. Blox manifold, masterpower T3/T4. I put on a straight 3" silicon hose tonight and it was really close but it didn't touch the line. I/ would recommend installing your fan on the other side of your radiator to give yourself some extra room and get a 45 degree silicon hose connector and then assemble your filter set up from there.

+1 on Lightning Motorsports. Great customer service. They've actually done it. Experience owns.

To the original poster, GL overall. I know you're gonna haul *** once it's all straightened out.
