Default After replacing my head gasket

Do I need to go back to the shop and get my valves checked and adjusted?
They told me after 500 miles, come back so they can adjust them. I never heard of this before, so can anyone let me know?

thanks~

no. adjusting the valves has nothing to do with the headgasket. and its simple enough that anyone can do it themselves in a matter of 5 mins total
