quick noob question!!
p28 chip it and run crome, get it tuned!!!!!!!
No you can't use a stock ITR or GSR since the compression is not the same or try it out and let us know how long before it all blows up

If you spent any kind of money on your engine or care to keep it running properly. Don't go with Crome. Free software or using the cheapest option out there isn't the way to go at all. Specially when it comes to tuning. Besides internal clearances tuning is what will keep your engine running properly. IMO Crome is no longer the way to go. It is an option, but it would be the last one in my books. It all comes down to what your local tuner is using I guess.
If you want to go cheap and not have to go with a stand alone like AEM or anothers. Go with Neptune RTP, eCtune or Hondata. All three are 110% better than Crome.

i picked up the car with the motor like this but when i checked the ecu its a stock p72 so my question is, is it fine to run with a stock p72? somebody told me its fine if i just want it for daily drivin but i could get more power if i go with hondata and stuff.
No it will not "blow up".
The timing maps on a GSR P72 are nowhere near advanced enough to knock with ITR internals unless you are running lower octane fuels.
It will just not be near the correct fueling.
If you have to worry about emissions that scan the OBD2 port, I would opt for an OEM ITR ECU.
You will make the best power on a custom tune for your particular setup using an OBD1 ECU + Crome/eCtune/Neptune...etc

^^thanks.. but with the stock p72 u think ill pass inspection tho? and yea.. so this guy selling a chipped p28 tuned on chrome. should i buy it? cus its right for my set up right? and i already got obd2 to obd1 jumper harness.
A chipped p28/p72 or p30 with a map from eCtune,Neptune or CromePRO will do..
People need to realize there's a difference between Crome and CromePRO..
Cromepro is not a free software, and its not buggy anymore, as john cui has fixed majority of the problems, and it works with the demon.. I beta test regularly for Craig.

Hondata s300 is going to run you around 500-700.
A RTP Demon + Neptune / ectune will only cost you 300..
Neptune / Ectune / CromePRO does everything hondata does..
Seriously? I tune hondata, but i dont support them, not after what they did tot he DIY community and surely not after they tried to raise their prices..again.
