Ok, running an ls trans with a welded diff, first pass about 10 feet off the line driverside axel breaks out by the hub. Replace it and second pass about 30-40 feet out pass side axel breaks the actual axel bar, inbetween the CVs. closer to the outer/hub cv.
First time out at the track 2 weeks ago broke the pass axel about 10 feet out but broke splines off and left a nub in the trans. Adjusted suspension and got a new axel, made 7 passes the following weekend with no issues. Car wouldnt hook so i raised the rear suspension about 1 inch for this friday and then the above happened. How much does suspension and alignment contribute to driveline stress.
Car is on MH 25x8.7s full weight eg coupe with gsr motor and ls trans with welded diff, welded motor mounts and no torque mounts. On 7psi in first gear, creeps to about 10psi by redline. Car has not 60d better than a 1.87 yet on this set up.

thanks for the advice guys.
OK...yesterday i had the car ready and was going out on the street to do a little testing. Pull out of my driveway, click into second, lay into the gas POW, broken pass side axel.
I am going to change the tranny tomorrow or tuesday and see if that fixes it, maybe it is a diff issue where we were using a welded diff. My next move after that would be an alignment, i really think the alignment is fine but whatever. Another thing i can try to change would be my steering rack, it has some slop on the pass side. If none of this fixes it i am going to probably put the car on a frame rack and make sure it is straight. Hopefully the tranny fixes the issue.

Ditch the welded diff.
More air in tires, pre-load, and don't shock.
Those or get better axles (which you'll start breaking the trans with if you don't do the above).

ok, but on a roll?
Going to try the gsr trans first, if that doesnt fix it i must have a suspension issue.
Aquafina you have pm.
