I have a 91 si hatchback and didn't have rear seat belts is that normal? Anyways I got my hands on a centre lap belt with oem tags and buckle I was just wandering if this mounts up and how? Or if these belts are rare because I can't say I've ever seen one any feed back is helpfull thanks

 

I think takata was kinda sourced to make seatbelts back in the day. I know they still do OEM seatbelts for Mistubishi and Subaru (I think Subaru)

 

Yeah I read that also the tag is still attached and says Honda motor company. Jis aproved and what not . I havnt looked for mounting holes under my seat yet that's why I ask if anyone know about it

This is a centre belt (lap belt) for the back I believe and I have the divided fold down seats nothing behind in the middle. Do you mean in back under the bench? Or am I missing a piece? I've had eg and ek four doors this my first hatch sorry for being a dumb *** lol

 

no, youre not missing a piece, it bolts to the car.. no brakcets.. and it goes sorta under the "butt pad" but only the middle has a lap belt.. the easiest way to put it in would probably be to completely remove the backseat.. and it should say center on it right? the other 2 belts are sholder strap belts.. the lap belt that is rare is the front passenger lap belt that does not say center on it.. its pretty rare cuz it was a dealer option to strap in a baby car seat.. which, my guess is that most people that had a baby and needed to put a car seat in, bought a 4 door.. just my guess lol

 

Ok cool I found the bolts one of them is actually my battery ground(moved for swap) and it does Say center. Oh well I guess. thanks for the info though. And by the way I did need it for my kids seat lol haven got th front on my ek 4d yet.
