When I bought my EF9 it had no rear seat belts installed. Luckily the belts were in a plastic bag in the truck; however, the problem is it's only lap belts. Does USDM EF Civics have shoulder belts; rather than, just lap belts?

Normally I wouldn't care, but I have a 4 year old who loves the car and I don't feel super safe taking him around in just a lap belt.

Hmmm, mine doesn't even have the holes where a seat belt would go on that rear panel. I guess I'll pull the panel and see if there is a mounting hole/bracket back there. Worst case is a drill a hole in the plastic and mount it. (assuming there is a mounting hole)

That's kinda weird for it not to have them. But yeah no problem. Safety first especially when it comes to kids.

It being a true JDM EF9, i'm assuming safety stands in japan may have been a lot less at the time. Oh well I'll get it figured out, thanks!

Usdm have shoulder belts and one lap belt in the middle. If you would like to trade for your lap belts please let me know if we could work something out thanks
