this is getting on my nerves now, just got done rebuilding the motor go to fire it back up and it starts running really rich and dies if i dont open up the throttle body.

t3/t4 w/ ramhorn..
Type R JG bored throttle body
AEBS intake manifold
GSR motor
OBD 1 del sol si harness

all the sensors are hooked up properly.

TPS is good
MAP is good
Timing is dead on
firing order is all inplace
IACV is hooked up
AIT is hooked up....

i just dont know whats going on.. really odd... im a mechanic and have tried just about everything... even new plugs new wires etc..

if you have any thoughts or opinions feel free to add in what might be wrong.

once again the problem is : when it fires, runs rich, misses hard, and dies. (symtomps almost as if TPS or MAP was not hooked up or something.. but it all is)

what ecu are you running? do you have stock injectors in?

 

do you have the tps and the map sensor plugs mixed up?

 

no i dont.


this is far beyond something that simple.

 

tuned p28 on 440 dsm.


(run fine before rebuild)

 

They're 450's correct?
Have you done a compression check?

and i just got done assembling this motor and iv built many motors.

this is not a error of the engine because with the old intake manifold it ran like a charm
