Anyone has an idea what it could be? I alaways thought that a ITR cluster of the same years would fitt bolt on into my car??

could be a bad fuel level indicator, or just a bad connection.

I was talkn to the guy from hmotorsonline today and he said that if you got a 94-97 spec car and use a 98+ spec cluster you will have the fuel gauge problem , so you can either deal with that prob , or you have to get a 96 spec cluster and then you will have no problems. I am waiting on hmotorsonline to get them in stock , hope that helps.
