Default temperature and fuel gauge

hi, i'm new here.. i've just tried to swap my JDM EG9 meter with my friend's JDM EG6 meter. immediately after the swap, both of our meter's temperature and fuel gauge went haywire.. when the cluster is plugged in, both the temp and fuel will be max. i've dismantled the temp and fuel gauge only to found out that one of the terminal's copper wired is snapped. anyway to fix this problem? thanks

the only way to fix it is to get another cluster. also and someone correct me if i'm wrong but the eg9 and eg6 have diferent pinouts on the clusters and you shorted the gadges out

but the thing is the EG9 meter was running without problem until i've decided to swap it out for an EG6. so i guess the pinouts shouldn't be any difference?

are you saying you both swapped out the whole cluster or just the temp/fuel gauge?
