the mechanic screwed me and put wrong head studs in my integra and now im replacing the head and other things but the arp head studs for my car wont even hold 66lbs of tourque because the threads are messed up. where can i get my threads fixed or what should i do

 

Are the threads in the block stripped or just the studs?

That is much more difficult. You can try something like heli-coil, but I would recommend having a machine shop provide advice. The block may be ruined.

 

Time serts are the way to go on head stud/bolt threads. But it will be expensive, depending how many thread holes are stripped, it may be cheaper to just replace the block

OP, you sure the mechanic installed the wrong head steads, or did he overtorque the stud itself, rather than torquing the nuts?

 

just an input, maybe tap and dye? the bolt and the hole?
