Default fuel problem

so the other day i was driving my accord and was dropping my friend off at his house. when i stopped, the check engine light turned on and it started running like crap. i turned it off and it would start after that. the next day i started it, but it was running like complete crap, and you could smell the rich fuel smell. it seems like the car isnt igniting the fuel. so i cahnged the plugs, and the igniter in the distributor, but it still didnt run right. we looked at the ecu, and the neptune chip was loose. so we hooked up my friends ecu and the check engine light turned off and started easier but still ran like ****. there is no voltage coming from my ecu, so we think its either the ecu is fried, or it lost its tune. idk what to think about it. i really hope its because the tuned got erased. any insight?
