Default Eg foglight problem. Please help.

Ok yesterday i installed my EG DEPO fogs. Now my issue is the following:

If i put the bumper flush the way its suppose to sit on car they cut off and dont power on. But if i slightly pull the bumper out to where i cant align one fender side, they come on. I dont F'en get it. I struggled all night yesterday trying to figure it out but gave up cuz it was late and my *** is sort of sick.

Anyone have any clue as to what this can be? IS it the wiring? The fogs? Maybe the fog housings are touching ground and making them cut off?(is that possible).

Any help is greatly appreciated

sounds to me like the plugs by the fog lights are touching something and loosening inside the plug. It is hard to tell without being there, double check all wires and make sure that they are not getting pinched.

Sounds like a case of your wiring getting pinched when you mount the bumper. Like above said, double check all wiring and connectors, especially the ground, if it's BOTH foglights that stop working.

yeah they both turn off. I'll try to check that. But from the previous day I made sure no wire were being pinched. Can the foglight housing touching the car's frame make it ground out?

Something is loose or not properly grounded.

Not unless there's something really wrong with your foglights and the housing. Actually, if you look carefully through your bumper with the foglight bezel off, you'll see a place where the foglight housing can be bolted to the frame -- so the foglight housing touching the frame should not be a problem.
