b16 wont turn over....
So I'm driving around before work today just driving and not getting on it. When I got to 50mph in fifth gear my car's rpm's go to zero and I push on the gas but the car goes no where. It still revved up but it was like the clutch wasn't engaging, so I came to a complete stop and went into first, it revved up but the tach didn't move and neither did my car. I shut it off and then tried to start it again but it wouldn't start, it acted like when your battery is dead but mine has a full charge so I am stumped on this and if anyone could help that would be awesome!!!! And the engine is a b16a obd2 with roughly 34,000 miles on it.

Highly doubt it, if you jumped timing the engine would run real crappy or not at all. You would probably also hear valves hitting your pistons. Your engine wouldn't continue to rev up normally. It sounds like you have an electrical issue as well as a problem with your clutch. I don't think any electrical problem would disengage your clutch.
My engine doesn't run at all right now, I didn't hear any valves hitting pistons and my clutch was grabbing fine all day until this happened and when I came to a complete stop and shut my car off it wouldn't start. It sounds like it wants to turnover but it starts going really fast when I keep the key turned.
is ur starter ESE oh never mind :D
check for spark check ur fuel
does ur fuel pump prime remove the hose behind ur fpr n chekc when u turn key gas passes true

1 He said it wouldn't start . sounded like the Battery was dead but his was a fully charged
sound's like
1 starter went out I.E. the sillonoid
2 Ground Cable Broke
3 Starter Bound up/Jamed or Rotating Mass of the motor I.E. Crank, Cam/s, pistions
If the engine won't turn over you can't check spark

Sorry dude you Didn't read the Post He said it was OBD II.
You sent him to a OBD I tread and so YES with OBD II he Needs a Scan Tool.
and as for the clutch i think you need to pull the starter out and see if you have any clutch material in the housing or if it looks like metal has been flying around in there. had that on an old civic. turn out i had broken one of the hub spings in the clutch disk and it got stuck in the pressure plate and wouldn't let it engage.
Bumer on the Timing Belt. your best bet is to pull the front covers off and see if you have a bad idler or water pump. also take the valve cover off and see if by chance the cam is frozen or broken. If you plan on just throwing in a new Belt and seeing if you get lucky.
at 34,000 miles i'll bet something other then the belt is bad that is the coz of the belt snapping. 94" civic i sold had the cam snap off just befor the disty cuz the cam desided to weld it self to the head at the 5th cam cap.
