Default Car not work , Need Help

I have a 2000 honda civic si with a b16 engine. I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden i was losing power. after awhile car rolled to a stop then i had a engine check light that kept flashing. I removed the battery cable to try and reset the code. engine code was gone but now engine still wont start. I check for bad distributor and sparkplugs seem fine do see sparks. Before all this happened i had a engine check light code for a bad catalytic converter. Engine does crank but no start. Any ideas?

A blinking CEL indicates severe misfire. Pull the CEL codes to see what new ones have popped up.

Does the fuel pump prime?

What color is spark at the plugs?

Have you checked the mechanical timing to see whether the timing belt slipped?

well it must of been pretty bad but since i removed the battery cables from the battery for a reset i get no more engine codes and didnt have a change to read code before i did that, was stupid. BUt it could be internal problems. my compression from 1 to 4 is 180, 90, 170, 170 so comething broke, im guessing valve or head gasket im hoping its only headgasket because i just barely put this together 4 months ago. ITs one of those 2 layer gaskets. should of gone with stock gasket. any more tests i could try before opening. radiation is now lower or dipstick doesnt show mixture or higher levels. so probably cylinders are still ok.

Do a cylinder leak down test to determine the cause of the low compression.

hmm i always thought when you do a leak test on that cylinder the piston has to be at the bottom not top

speed sensor wire lost contact it was actually pulled out just one wire out of the two when we dropped the transmission. engine checklight did come on and after digging we found the loose wire pushed it in and it worked.
