Icon2 THROWIN CEL 43

so i have a 97 gsr in my 95 civic coupe it ran fine for about the first week then started throwing code 43 it came on once befor work then at lunch it didnt come on agian till 2 days later and now it come on just about everyday i let the car run for 5 min warm up and i leave and it runs fine then it will pop on i was told to just change the feul filter but i was trying to get your guys opinion it also baugs sometimes not all the time but if im cruzin and try to exellerate it will baug and i let off the gas and get on it and it runs perfect im stuck

well car will run like poop if its not getting fuel.

Could be a bad O2 sensor if the car runs fine.

sounds like a plugged fuel filter, it only boggs when you wot?

There's a disconnect here.

If code 43 is accompanied by poor engine performance, then concentrate on the fuel system. Start by measuring the fuel pressure.

yea i said sometimes it runs fine 95%percent of the time it doesnt baug enought to say its runnin bad but thanks for all the ideas cummin in its givven me a good starting point

sounds like plugged filter if you havent replaced it yet, plugged filters show up during accel not in idle

so i should try to change what the feul filter are their other filters i should check two

just the fuel filter its by the firewall youll see a line going from the fuel rail to the filter

changed the fuel filter FINALY and fixed the problem
