Default Cam Seal Leak -- Aftermarket vs. OEM?

Hey everyone. My Del Sol b16a3 looks to have a leaking cam seal. Is it refered to as a "cam cap seal"? I searched and can't find much... maybe i'm calling it something different?

The only solid thing I could find was an Integra DIY cam cap seal replacement. In the DIY it mentioned, that the honda units are pretty garbage, plastic and lacking an O-ring. That it's a common problem. Is this true? The author also mentioned buying an aftermarket unit, which was aluminum instead of plastic and had 2 O-rings on it. What would be the best way to go?

Thanks everyone.

If I should infact buy an aftermarket cam seal, does anyone know of a manufacturer to look for?

oem ones are indeed plastic and junk, well, not junk but everyone of them start leaking at around 90-100k. the aftermarket ones look very nice and I guess IMO metal is better than plastic. just make sure you hondabond it before putting your new one on. Its 10-30bucks for an aftermarket one depending on brand.

i have never had a problem with OEM. just run a bead of silicone over the top of it and in the head part where it seals and your fine.

It's a piece of aluminum with O-rings, Blox or even some no-name eBay one would probably be fine.
