Default HELP: no low beams!

so my friend and i were trying to put HID's into his EG and we came across a problem...

at first the HID's were just flashing and not staying on... after we jiggled some wires we thought it was just a bad ballast so we go ahead and put the stock headlights back on and NO LIGHTS...

checked the headlight fuses, both good. checked the 'lights' fuse under the hood, good.

checked for power at the headlights socket; NO POWER!!!

so somewhere between the fuse panel and the headlight socket there is a break in the wire...
my question is, what path does the wire take to get to the headlights?

im sure it has to go through the headlights switch at the steering wheel, but where else?

i need to start tracing power!!! HELP!!!

EDIT:
the daytime and highbeams both work, but just the low beams dont.

EDIT x2:
also, now the radio light doesn't work!!! how the hell are the radio and the low beams related!?

Check whether fuses 21 and 22 have battery voltage with the light switch on.

i think it is your switch, i do not believe both relays would go out at the same time. STRAIT WIRE THEM AT THE HARNESS where the whole column pulgs in
