Default Civic EX sway bar upgrade...

Do I just spend the cash and go aftermarket or should I just upgrade to the Civic Si sway bars? Will they make a difference or not worth the cash?

after reading this I think it would be smart that I just upgrade to the Civic Si rear swaybar and do the rear disk conversion while i'm at it to get it more neutral because adding the Si front swaybar puts me back to the same understeer

If you upgrade hoth front and rear you'll be neutral and stiff

But then again, go in small increments you dont just wanna get the biggest

Plus you can run the si 13mm rear without a subframe brace which will run $200 by itself ..... So my final advice is 13mm rear

I was just looking at how I would need the SI strut fork or w/e also because of the bigger lower arm and that makes it more complicated. Maybe in the future i'll go aftermarket in the front and rear

Front sway induces understeer, but a traction bar will basicly give the same antisway characteristics, no understeer, you can get better launches, it's easier to install since you can keep your non-EX/Si LCAs. It may be more expensive, but you could build one for not too much.
