Default window stains

Wuddup Fellas,
I'm lookin to put some tint on my windows, but have a slight window problem. It is common with older vehicles, but just wanted to know if it could be fixed. Anyone know about those window stains that look like the car was just washed but never dried properly or maybe know a way to get them off?

Did you try vinegar? It could be calcium deposit from not drying the car when it got wet from the sprinklers. You can also try to polish them with car wax.

Will definently try the vinegar to see if it works. I have already tried the car wax with no help. I have had some bad tint jobs whether they be already on the car or when i got them personally and wanna do this one right. Do you think it will show underneath the tint?

I had this problem & the only way I got it off was using 0000 grade steel wool, ALOT of elbow grease & a whole day to get all my glass looking new 8D I tried vinegar, purple power, someone told me to try those headlight resurfacing kits you use with your drill... nothing! the only thing that worked for me was the steel wool. this WORKED FOR ME WITH NO PROBLEMS if you do it & f**k something up, thats on you. what I did to make sure it wouldnt scratch my glass or anything is try it on a small piece of the window first then if you like the results get to work! 8D

Got a certain technique? I don't see how you could possibly use steel wool without completely fing up my window worse than it already is

I know it sounds crazy, **** I thought the dude that told me was crazy but I tried it out first & BAM! a day later my windows are new 8D but just go to lowes get some 0000 grade steel wool (make sure its 0000) I used water in a spray bottle & just worked in circles about the size a lil smaller then the top of a coke can, maybe a lil smaller & slowly but surely the spots came off & there were no scratches & i was pushin hard to, I was movin my whole car at times... this is how I did it and it worked for me if you find an easier or better way let us know bro...
