i have a stock b20 motor b16 head blox manifold n block guard t3/t4 turbo on 9psi. my friend is selling some itr cams n gears for $200 will it make a power difference n is it worth it..
i hear it wont n i hear it will aaawhhgrrrr

 

ITR cams have more aggresive lobes than the B16 cams there for you should gain some power, but i would recomend that you get some dual springs for example ITRs, Blox, Skunk 2 ect. and also tune your car if youre gonna do this the results will be much greater.............

 

This was just answered in another thread. Look up the specs on the cams. ITRs are more aggressive, and almost like Stage 1 cams.

 

ITR's are good, you dont need to upgrade valvetrain unless your goin about 8500rpm's.

 

i would upgrade to itr valve train with itr cams since b16 are single spring on both side

or even get supertech valve spring with rsx type s retainers($45 brand new) if you want to upgrade your valve train

 

whats the acura part # on the retainers
