Just had my valve job done..
i'm looking at it right now and something doesn't seem right. I didn't notice any of my guides or springs replaced. The springs were still dirty with grease and the valve guides didn't look new. I was suppose to have a 3-angle done to it, but how do I know it was done? I can't really take of the valves and check myself, can I?
oh btw.. 2 of the valves [i forget which ones] sticks up, on the exhaust side i think.. is this normal? it doesn't stick up a whole lot, maybe a quarter inch or so
yea the came is on the head, lightly oiled too.
but they said they're gonna replace, what needs to be replaced.. my mechanic told me i had to get my valve guides and springs replaced, and it didnt.. so im wondering if they even did a good job at it.. or more importantly, if they resurfaced my head good enough
any place i could ask to have them check it for me? even if i have to pay a little just for an inspection

Well your mechanic can check and see if they went through the head. Maybe your some of your original valve springs were within specs. Can you take the head back and have them recheck it.
