I made the switch from chrome to neptune for the boost control, and anti-lag, etc., a couple months back. We went from 93 pump to 110 and went from 16-18psi, to whatever we could do, which wound up only being 24 and some change psi. The car was having spooling issues, coming in way too late, and just wouldn't stay @ 24psi for some reason. I was running dual springs in my tial 38 gate, which was supposed to give me 18 psi off the gate, and we couldn't get anymore than 24psi for some reason?? It's only a t3 60-1 but I thought we could get 30 psi out of her, maybe I'm wrong.
Anyhow, I tore the gate apart last night to inspect, all was well. So this time I threw in just the large blue spring, according to tial it's 13 psi. So I throw that one in, and hook up my manual boost controller, and Im now getting steady boost, and 20+ psi. I'm still dialing in to see what kinda boost I can get out of it, but it's working waaaayyyy better than the aem solenoid is.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had issues with them. I am no tuner, but are there adjustments that can be made on the solenoid? I know you can adjust the duty cycle and what not for gear based/mph based, but are there different ways to run/control them? I would like to use it, but it just doesn't seem to be doing it's job right.

Oh yea, you better beleive I've checked everything more than 5 times. Wired right, lines are routed right. I'm not sure, I don't tune the car, a buddy of mine does. Im waiting to get back up to go over it. As far as I know the only real settings for it are mph or gear based, and then set your duty cycle for each gear/mph. It's just @ this point the solenoid is set to do 100% in 3rd and 4th, but my manual is the only one getting the boost I want (25+psi). For some odd reason the electronic just won't pull it like the manual???
