which one for boost?
Id go with the F22B2 non vtec for boost. tough cylinders and non vtec boost friendly although i wouldnt push no more than 8psi on stock internals. My choice would be to tear it down an throw some forged internals in it. save you money in the long run and more boost! All depends on your plans with the car...
They are dirt cheap and easily located.
The B2 has milder cam event timing which is what you want on a boosted motor. (More Torque and a higher dynamic compression)
The mechanical compression ratio is in the range you want also. Too high and you risk detonation and other ugly complications.
