Vtec and boost
I would think that you DONT want vtec and boost coming on at the same time. I had 2 dyno shops my shop guy say when you have boost on a vtec motor the best tunning for the motor is to turn vtec way up. I heard if it kicks in at 3000 with boost thats very bad. I also was told me another shop that someone had vtec engaging when boost kicked in and possible reason why the dudes motor blew becuase of the tunning issues he had. Can anyone back this up? Im confussed.....
i dont think it would make too much difference either way........many cars run turbo w/ variable timing stock..........all ur gonna have to do is retard ur timing a bit w/ a VAFC.........i think.........

dude, ditch the shop you went, vtec is completely fine with turbo, only untuned(or not properly tuned) fuel management system have problem with boost and vtec cross over.
in other word, it can be done
in other word, it can be done
