Default dohc vtec and boost

this question is for anyone who has a dohc vtec engine with turbo. i wanted to know do this two work together to produce a good response. i was told that when you boost a car thats vtec, the vtec hurst the performance of the car. i heard that when vtec engages and u are already in boost that there is a noticeable drop in power. so can ne1 lemme know how there dohc vtec car is running with boost? how does it feel or act when vtec engages? basically i wanted to know can vtec and boost work together in harmony?

exactly... i think on my dyno chart there is a drop for a fraction of an rpm.. then the power shoots right on up the chart... I'd say the crossover point might not be something that likes boost.. but vtec certainly works quite well with boost...

vtec+boost= good

So long as the VTEC and turbo DO NOT activate simultaneously, you will be fine, and you will make awesome power. Set your VTEC activation point to the rpm right after where your turbo is fully spooled, and you will be perfect.
