Default shaved bay

Was in process of shaving my bay and been lookin an was seeing diff. things use to fill in holes..and was wondering what is best thing to use for heat under the hood and all? any advice is appreciated

weld most of the holes and what you cant fill in, use a skim coat of Evercoat metal glaze.

you can do it 2 diff. ways for certain areas. easiest way is to weld all the hole then grind them smooth then filler over them.

i welded almost all the holes cept. the rad support where i back glued the rad support then filled over it ill post pics of it

its dirty havent cleaned out the bay in weeks

That is how a body shop would do it. But for metal glazed i would stay away and weld everything you want to fill. So it will last.

weld them then grind them down. i would also use evercoat poly-flex glaze putty to smooth out as its a flexible filler and less prone to cracking over time.
