Default A Good Fuel System/Injector Cleaner Every Oil Change

Do you people use a good fuel system/injector cleaner every oil change? Is it necessary? I use Duralube fuel system cleaner every oil change and I've been doing it for about 5 years now. If you do what do you use?

i take this **** from work. gumout injector stuff..i run it through a vacuum line..usually the brake booster...works good on highmileage motors. smokes a lot tho for awhile (thats how u know its working tho)

if u want to do an engile oil flush..dont waste money on the gimmicks..i just add like a quarter quart of ATF fluid in the oil cap..let it run for 5 minutes..drain the oil..flush new oil through it...then do the oil change like normal. why atf? it has detergent like properties(more so then other fluids for clarification)

isnt all oil detergent oil ??

only reason I see to flush is if you have an engine with 25k on it and no oil change EVER.....

Thread started to go a little of topic. Let me clarify the topic. I'm wondeering if there's anyone out there that uses a concentrated fuel system cleaner once in a while? I use the Duralube fuel system cleaner every oil change. Here are a couple of examples of fuel system products: Duralube, Slick 50, STP, B-12 Chemtool, Shogun Import Fuel Sytem Cleaner (pennzoil), Greased Lightning, etc.

I use the stp brand. but i dont do it every oil change. usually at everyother one. i dont think that it can hurt anything if u do it that often. the people that make those cleaners recommend it at every oil change for 3 reasons, 1 for money, 2 to help ur car a bit, 3 money. just my 2 pennies.

If Honda thought you needed that stuff every oil change for the engines THEY MAKE I think they would recommend it in the manual or something.

I use one about once a year or less.

Also, nothing is better than the fuel injector can cleaners you hook up to the fuel rail and let your car run on that until the can runs out. Every race pro Ive seen use that over gas additives.

i get the 4 pak techron at costco and use it every 10k..but i dont feel any difference when im using it..a clean gas is probably just as effective since they have a good concentration of cleaner in them
