Break In - What oil to use?

Break In - What oil to use?
So I am due for my 5000 mile oil change. This will be the first oil change. Should I use conventional oil for the first change then switch it to Fully Synthetic? How long should I run it with conventional?

hmm...personally i would've had my first oil change much sooner (~1k) but thats just me being ****

The original oil your car came with from the factory has additives in it to break in the engine. You are right in waiting to change the oil till now. I would say you are safe to change to synthetic now.
