Do I keep the OBD1 or OBD2 engine harness with this Type R Swap?
I bought an JDM B18C ITR motor out of an 2000 ITR. My question is this, I'm swapping it into my 94 EG. The ITR is all OBD2, I will be using the OBD2 Type R ECU that came with the motor. Do I run the OBD2 engine harness that is on the B18C ITR right now or do I run a OBD1 engine harness? Thanks. I searched and couldn't find my answer.

If im not wrong your EG has the connectors at the shock tower. And your B-series spec swap is a single main harness which runs into the floor board of the car and plugs directly into the B-series ECU.
You will need to run the engine bay harness that comes with your engine.
You will also need a jumper harness if not im not mistaken. From obd2b to obd1.

Also my EG is equipped with a D15B currently.
Well the harness that is on the ITR motor I bought for the swap is OBD2. So I wanna keep the OBD2 engine harness that came with the motor and run that on the Type R (OBD2) ECU. Just converting the ECU plugs from OBD1 to OBD2 ? Basically... Is that correct?

If its a JDM harness, forget it, its flipped around 180 degrees, more or less. Your ideal engine harness will be an OBD2A ('96 - '99) Integra harness, direct plug in on the engine and at the OBD1 shock tower plugs. You can use an OBD2B harness '00 - '01 as well, but you will need to add a wire for the tach signal from the distributor. Failing that, reuse the original civic harness and swap out the distributor and alternator connectors for those on the ITR harness. If its a JDM ITR ECU get an OBD1 to OBD2A adapter harness (JDM OBD2 ECUs are generally OBD2A, even later versions, check the plugs to make sure before ordering) If its a USDM ECU, forget about it, they have an immobilizer and look for several sensors that wont be there, use an OBD1 vtec ECU instead and have it chipped and tuned. (this is really the ideal way to go regardless.)
If I use the OBD2B harness from an 2000-2001 integra will it direct plug in on the engine and and at the OBD1 shock tower plugs, its just a matter of adding the wire for the tach on the distributor.
