hey so i got a 97 EK 5 speed. i had the D16Y7. and then decieded to swap heads for the Z6. I got a Skunk2 intake manni, OBD2 to OBD1 conv. harness. dizzy... everything pretty much. Put it all in at the same time. when me and my buddy did the swap were pretty sure we did it all right. But when we start it, it bogs down when i give it gas? not sure why. But when i put the stock OBD2 ECU back in it works fine? but it only bogs when i run the P28. Iv heard it could be the injectors but not sure so i was hopein someone on here could help me out.

The p28 ecu is that from an automatic? Could be affecting how it works but not sure. Also check the fuel filter injectors everything fuel related

 

aren't the y7 injectors 180cc? This could be a problem. And a p28 is not an automatic ecu.

 

I'll have to check mine but I thought I read somewhere that a p28 was a auto will check when I get off work in the morning

 

I think the P28 ecu can be either Auto or Manual. Both from the Z6, that's what I always thought.

I think just chipping your Auto/Manual ecu and it will run fine.

 

ya the Y7 injectors are 180cc. Are Z6 injectors 225? or more

 

and my p28 is chipped with S100 but nothin on it cause it should run fine as long as i got a base map for VTEC. whitch i do so idk what the hell is wrong with my car lol.

Also does S100 have boost options?
