Default cleaning up the boost

so i got my ek running like a top minus the all stock suspension and shot struts this rocket ship feels like a death trap at 8lbs
so i got a drop kit and some good struts on the way
anyway, i tore into it and found my rods look stock and they either said p72 or p73 on the bottom caps lets say 72 for now honestly cannot remember was in to much of a hurry
the head is a pr3-2 im guessing itr?? not shure.
also completly unshure on the pistons.
so question is on a greddy e-manage tune 8 lbs is the cut off, on stock rods.
well on low comp pitons with stock rods and a better tune, whats the cut off?
thanks-
dave

you opened up the bottom of the block to see whats inside? You dont know what motor is in the car but its boosted? You could just look at the stamp on the side of the block to find out what you have. I really dont get your post. There is no way to help you without any real info about your car.

its a b18c i can get the block vin later
it has a p73 ecu tied into a greddy e-manage box.
the cams and valvetrain look like stock componets but definetly re-worked.
it has a thick thick head gasket i forget what they call them but there common with boost.
has arp headbolts, what looks like a jam nut locked down on to a single head stud with an allen wrench, reads arp
pulled the pan off to change the gasket, secure the tap to the pan better and have a look inside. was in such a hurry i cant remeber if the rods said p72 or 73.......defintly stock tho
the head is a pr-2 i belive itr will investigate more later.
the injectors are i belive he said obx not shure but they are upgraded......
rail is stock and the regulator is aftermarket but not adjustable.
fuel pump is loud like f*&% but not shure, sounds like a walboro....
pulled compression the day i got it before it was running and had not ran in a few months
cold compression was 160 150 160 160 est will need to pull again... that was also with the boost hoses conected and the tb closed
how do i find out what comp the pistons are guys........
whats the max working boost for the internals?
because this car is obd2 what is going to be the best aproach to tuning
a p28 with a obd2-1 harness??
everyone keeps telling me to ditch the greddy box

im kind of new to b series hondas and obd2 at that. i stepped into the game with h motors never though a b series could rock my world like this one does.
thanks in advance

A PR3-2 head is ITR or B16A because they use the same casting. Considering that you have a black valve cover and your motor seems stock ill bet that its a B16 head. You should get a P28 Chipped with a OBD 2 OBD 1 Conversion harness. the Greddy box is pretty useless. I mean they are decent for stock motors on boost running small amounts of boost but not for anything serious.

Sounds like u have a B16A head with a stock JDM GSR block, crank, and rods but the compression is way to low to b stock pistons even with a thick head gasket but maybe and it's running on a ITR ecu with a greddy junk manage. Definately get a conversion harness to OBD1 and have someone tune it. I'm not gonna say get a P28, P72, P06 converted to P28, that's all up 2 u and ur ability.

His compression could be that low because hes running a cometic head gasket.

Well thank u captain obvious^^^^^^^

I had to give u sh@t 4 that, lol.. I know it has a cometic gasket but that still sounds way to low to me, plus using a thicker gasket completely screws up the quinch of the engine.

Ya i know a thicker gasket is a sorry way to lower compression but its possible that he did lower it that much with the gasket. There are some very thick HG's available for B series.
