Just bought 2000 Civic EX list of problems
1- U sure its just the front?
2- Raise it up a little bit, see if it visually matches the other side (height wise).
3- Try replacing the bulbs. (Search for a how to)

download the free pdf of the 96-00 civic factory service manual and you should see some diagnostic tests for it.
this is a simple repair. there are 3 light bulbs I believe that you have to replace. standard 94 bulbs I think. again look at the factory service manual for it.
have you checked it? it should be obvious near the throttle and behind the power steering reservoir.
i had the same problem just bought some 194 bulbs or was it 74 ehh don't remember but it fixed everything, check out the wiring you might have to replace it if its exposed or slightly torn, also check out the housing for the bulb my prelude needed a new housing because the piece that held the bulb cracked and it only worked when it wanted to, bought it from honda it was cheap and easy fix.
yeah I knew it was swapped it's a b16a2 it's pretty fast faster than my 93 civic that had a d16z6 haha but I'm more focused on getting things fixed. Another question on the dash behind the steering wheel you have your switch for the wipers and your switch for the headlights. they are not at the same height. Infact the plastic housing is turned to the right and I have no idea how to fix that

ya you def dont have a cruise control module. It sounds like your front light is loose in the socket. Thats what was wrong with my back light. Does the car have rims? maybe the offset or tires are too big. it will cauase it to rub. Unless your splash guard isnt secured properly, then it will sag down and rub when you turn.
Nope. Shouldn't be that way. If you pull the steering wheel and air bag off you can access the switches and mount them correctly. If I'm not mistaken the whole assembly itself should have teeth on it.
Its def not in the right place. You need to adjust it. How much is it going to cost that mechanic to fix it? Your looking at huge bills if you have them buy the parts for you. And your car has the AC Compressor and Condenser in it, so what is the issue there?

Why would you need the GSR line? Since the previous owner had a D series in there before everything should be the same. Unless for some reason they used a GSR pump. Which I don't know if they are even that different anyways.
That o2 sensor code is gonna come back on anyways since you say he put in a test pipe. I think that mechanic is taking you. But that's just me.

ya your going to get a code because of the test pipe. And you shouldnt need a GSR Power steering line, what kind of bullshit is that? Did you also pay for the O2 Sensor and the header? And DC Sports isnt JDM.
I got a 1996 EX which had ALOT of problems surface at the latest inspection, AFTER my B16B swap. There were rats chewing on the brake lines in the back under the fuel tank... did not notice any leaks or loss of braking for some reason, the steering column is crooked like yours, apparently result of theft attempt, also, the previous owner tack welded a castle nut onto stripped ball-joint threads, a big no no. I was fortunate THAT problem decided to manifest itself while puling away at a stop light and not on the highway.
Hey did you ever get your steering switches fixed? Mine are the same way but not quite as bad and my car was apparently stolen at one point from the previous owner like the post above me
1 - Its either a dead fuse, or bad wiring, try replacing all ur fuses! autozone sells a bundle for about 20 dollars
2 - I had the same problem, it was my stabilizer, it may be your baskets
3 - its probably the bulbs, simply replace it. Or possibly bad fuse

I would say that car has either been stolen, or at least attempted to be to have the column like that. Does the column lock still work? If not, replace it.
For your signal, there's a good chance the combination switch may be faulty and need to be replaced if it's not the relay!

my colum is the same way, someone robbed my si from the prevoui owner. but also im running a testpipe as well with the o2censor. but i also running with chipped 95 ecu. is that maybe why i havent gotten a cel?
