Blow off Springs & Wastegate questions
Hi im looking into my first turbo build. got a few questions i cant seem to find answers for.
1. Tial Q spring pressure. how should i go about ordering this since i will be running s300 with Mac EBC. it ranges from 6psi to 12psi. if i start with a 7psi wastegate spring should i match it with the blow off valve but since im going to run to right now 10-12psi what should i do. Also when i build the motor later and run higher boost?
2. Tial MV-S wastegate
A. does it share the same v band as the V44?
B. When does this max out in a set up. i see a few of these in the market place saying they upgraded to the 44mm. just trying to figure out how much i can push it but i dont want to over do it.
I have driven a bunch of boosted cars but never did one of my own yet. gonna start with a decent combo. then later switch with a full built motor. thank you guys.

spring pressure on the bov has nothing to do with how much boost you're running. gotta figure out how much vacuum your motor is pulling at idle and match to the correct spring
The inlet V-band on an MVS is NOT the same as a 44mm... Fortunately all MVS wastegates come with the correct inlet & outlet flange and clamp, so even if your manifold doesnt have the correct flange, one can easily be welded on
