how to wire vafc to a non vtec ecu (p75)
i had to do this on my car, back before i was running vtec... What you do is make sure first, that you're following the correct ecu pinout supplied by Apex'i. Then, what you do, once you find all the component wires on ur ecu is, find the corresponding wires/colors on the VAFC. There should be 2 for the +12v ignition power(red and orange), 2 for ground(brown and black), 2 for the MAP sensor(yellow and white), 1 for the TPS(grey), and 1 for the tach signal(green) i think. As for the wires that have anything to do with vtec, don't worry about them; just completely ignore them as long as you make sure there's no exposed wires when you're done.
on the ECU, you cut the MAP sensor wire, and run each of the wires through the AFC. That should be the only one you cut. You run the yellow wire on the VAFC into the ecu, and you run the white wire on the vafc to the other end of the MAP sensor wire you just cut. all the other wires, you can just splice the vafc harness wires to them.

No, its not possible to "trigger" the vtec with the vafc, all it can do is adjust where in the rpm range you want the low-cam to switch over to the high-cam(not sure on that though, you might want to research it...). It also depends which ecu you have as to whether it has the vtec programmed inside of it.
