APexi Vafc on a non vtec ecu??? MINI ME
Is it possible to use the vafc without having the vtec ecu? The reason I ask is becuase I did a mini me swap and I do not have any way to activate vtec at the moment. I was going to try using a rpm switch but that didnt turn out so good. Does anyone have any information on how I would get this to work?

Someone please help me out here. How will I get vtec activated? Instead of running the wire to the vtec ecu(which I do not have) can I run that wire to the solenoid?

I would just get a VTEC ecu, but I think maybe running the VTEC wires straight from the VAFC to the engine might work, but I'm not positive.

I heard alot of stories about toggle switchs which is why i'm letting everything be computer controlled. Can anyone confirm that running a wire straight from the solenoid will work on the vafc?

hey, im doing the same thing(kinda), on the other plug on the vtec solenoid, which wire id the positive, the black or blue(??)

the vafc will work, i have seen them run with a fields ecu to activate so im sure the vafc will work also, do a search or a google search and give people a chance to reply

my buddy ran a toggle switch....vtec whenever you want it!
yes you can use a vafc with a non vtec ecu or non vtec engine....you just don't hook up vtec if it is a non vtec engine.....or with a non vtec ecu you just hard wire the pressure sender and trigger.....don't ask me how cause i charge money for that kind of info!!

that is the gayest thing ever done ever....
yes you can use a vafc with a non vtec ecu or non vtec engine....you just don't hook up vtec if it is a non vtec engine.....or with a non vtec ecu you just hard wire the pressure sender and trigger.....don't ask me how cause i charge money for that kind of info!!
