Default vafc install...

Ok this is probably a dumb question but I just want to be sure I'm doing this right. I know where all the wires go and everything but on the diagram it shows two wires going to a wire off the ecu with two black dots on them (i.e. the red and orange ig power wires going to the ig power from the ecu) My question is, do I splice the two ig wires from the vafc together and then splice them into to the ecu wire, do I splice both of them into the ecu wire at different spots, or do I cut the ecu ig power wire and have the red going away from the ecu and the orange going towards the ecu. Thanks for the help

That's the right way. But just be aware that for the ground wires, the brown VAFC wire must be installed closer to the ECU than the black VAFC wire.

Thats what I thought, but I wasn't sure...and for the the vtec solenoid you cut the wire coming from the ecu and run the purple wire (input) going to the ecu and the pink wire (output) going away from the ecu...and same for the pressure signal, correct?

Yep. And for the pressure signal, the yellow VAFC wire goes to the ECU and the white VAFC wire goes to the output wire.
