Default Methanol on a B Series?

Contemplating using an AEM meth kit on my setup. I'm coming from the evo world where this is fairly common. Any of you guys using methanol with your setups?

If so, please post specs, whp figures and a dyno sheet if possible.

If not, why don't you?

More as a failsafe against a bad tank of gas and to perhaps run a few more psi of boost as a result with peace of mind. I'd consider another meth kit, I'm just interested to see some pump + meth setups and the results.

A lot of people are running meth kits with 91/93 octane for more boost. An EVO is no different. Why dont you just run E85? Problem Solved!

I'm not in the US, and it's not readily available here.

You from Canada?

I run the AEM water/meth kit on my dsm, I know this is no help to you because your asking about using it on a Honda, but its no different. I like to make lots of power on pump gas so when I drive on the street in not burning away my wallet using C16, so I use meth injection. FWD can't hook up with street tires on the power you make on straight pump anyways.. so they don't always 'want' to make that much more, except when there at the track and are set up to go fast, than they just use the race gas.

Goodluck.

Rex has a good point. I couldn't get traction on my 91 octane tune and that was without meth. I had 430whp. Until you fix your traction issue, more power is not always the best thing.
