Default strongest engine build up cleaner possible

Hey guys, long story short I blew my head gasket and took the head off and now i need to clean the head and the block as well as the top of the pistons...

I need a strong chemical that will break down the carbon build up and get all of the grime off of the black that the blown head gasket left.

anyway, what do you guys use?

so far I think seafoam would be a decent option. but if you guys know of much stronger stuff let me know.

Simple green works great on tough built up grease. the Engine brite spray stuff works great. You are beating a dead horse if doing it by hand. Take the head to your local car wash spray some simple green on and use a pressure washer. Same with the block dont get water into the motor if its assembled. or clean the piston domes off with a scraper and reassemble everything, then take it to the car wash and pressure wash it all clean.

I used that Aircraft Stripper one time. Didn't have anything else and it worked really well. it melted and ate the grease off my block with no problem.
