Default Boost Z\C

how much Boost could a Z\C hold on stock internals and still be safe to be driven often?

seems for most engines I've worked with its 5-10 PSI

Previous car was 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, 1.8L Turbo, Daily Driven. ran 6 Psi constantly. Stock rods, forged pistons.. never dynod. est 175-220whp (beat 4G63 Turbo FWD of the same year which has 195whp stock)

Are we talking the twin cam or single?

Size of the turbine matters as well.

psi isn't the right term.
Different sized turbos both at 5 psi will produce different amounts of hp.

220hp is about all the rods can handle reliably.

I'm talkin Single Cam Z\C

ok im talking in terms of Atomospheric Pressure tho. The head gasket will only hold so much PSI. this was a common problem in the 1.8L DSM's when running turbo. a OEM Spec Head Gasket on a mitsu 1.8L would usually not with stand more then 8 PSI before you blow it out. go higher then 15 PSI, and the stock pistons would blow through the oil pan in pieces.

Ill most likely wil run a 45 trim turbo

220hp is fine with me. id aim for 200hp

really just a Turbo DD is all i want, not to worried about how fast it is, My cars are more for personal intrest and cruising, not going out and racing everynight.

what about a N\A build on a Z\C is there a decent amount of aftermarket parts

like...
Cam's
ITB's
High Compression Pistons
Titanium Valve Springs
Port + Polish
BPU's Etc.
