1.5 Bar question for turbo people.... ZC
I have a ZC and was trying to find info on the max compression I can use on my motor with a turbo configuration, That I did not find, but I did find out that my sleeves can with stand or hold 1.5 bar , what dose that work out to be pressure wise. I am not experienced in this aspect and would like to know what this may intail. Any info would be awsome....... Bar meaning so many Lbs. of boost. would stock pistons hold this. or how long would they last...

Re: 1.5 Bar question for turbo people.... ZC (ZColeon)
1 bar is 14.7 psi or so.........I just have a hard time believeing a ZC sleeves can hold 1.5bar...the most I have seen boosted on a stock ZC is 9~10 psi and If I recall they dont last very long at that boost level but hey I might be wrong.

the 9~10 psi is on a FULLY stock ZC motor, if it was built(rods, pistons) I would not boost over 14 psi on stock sleeves and even at that I think the life of the sleeves could be measured in months, you got to realize a ZC is and old as **** motor form like 1990. if you want to boost 1~1.5 bar build the motor (sleeve it), but why would you go to that trouble, just buy an LS.
