Default turbocharged daily driver

What would I need to build a reliable turbocharged car that I can drive daily. There are times where I am stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for 2 hours, I just want a reliable turbocharged daily driver.

ur gonna need a fully built motor. we are talking forged pistons/rods/sleeves and two block guards. the stock radiator will overheat in traffic so ur gonna need a fluidyne. make sure u get the turbo installed by a good reliable shop cause u dont want to do it urself, u might mess something up. oh and ur gonna need some stage 3 axles cause u dont want to be on ur way to work and have an axle break. nah mean?

or

just bolt on a kit and u will be fine. which answer u like better?

Umm....the 1st. No, the 2nd. No, the 1st. Wait, what?

Can't beleive you didn't mention the Stage 8 clutch. That's essential for a DD.

My car is a turbo daily driver, and I mean every single day roughly 12000 miles a year..... I sit in traffic, but not for hours on end. My car has been VERY reliable thus far

haha. or you can just fill in the water jackets with aluminum and notch fins on the block to make it air cooled. no radiator required! just like those BIG horsepower Harleys.

i wouldnt build a motor for daily driving cause then you have a race motor not a daily motor. the drag or any turbo kit is base off a stock internal motor so your better off getting a kit, putting it on a stock car with maybe the basic bolt ons like fuel and ingnition and boosting what the kit comes with. anything more then what the kit offers then its your fault. but youll have a nice daily driving car. before i built my motor i was able to get 30,000 miles before i started to have probs. my built motor only lasted 8000 miles.

There's nothing wrong with a built motor.. I've got 12k miles so far and ticking.. No problems with the motor so far.. For a budget setup just pistons and rods will be fine. I haven't had a problem w/ factory honda axles either...

sorry guys but i was just kidding, i guess some of u thought i was serious. for a reliable daily driven turbo car just keep everything as stock as possible. just get a good turbo kit and u do a good install and u will be fine.
